Ben Curtis 70-1(currently tied for 1st place)
Curtis is known for his accuracy off the tee and in the fairway which will help him this week. While not the longest hitter, this week at Mystic Rock GC length will not be a big issue despite being over 7500 yards. Look for consistent players such as Ben Curtis, Jeff Maggert or even Scott Verplank to take home a win this week.
Rory Sabbatini(-115) vs. Justin Rose(Sabbatini tied for 5th)
Both players are extremely hot right now, but Justin Rose imploded in the final round of the Canadian Open, and history tells us the sloppy play usually follows the player into the next week. Justin Rose was unable to make the cut at last year’s 84 Lumber and we expect Justin to be around the cut line this go around. Sabbatini will continue his solid play earning himself another top 25 appearance.
