Maryland travels to Morgantown, WV to take on a Nationally ranked(#5) West Virginia Mountaineer Team tonight. Both teams played rather easy schedules to start the season. Maryland defeated Division I-AA William & Mary 27-14 and Middle Tennessee State 24-10. West Virginia routed Marshall 42-10 and Eastern Washington 52-3. Maryland seemed to have trouble with two games they should have won easily, while West Virginia took care of business in their two wins. A couple of question marks remain for tonight's matchup. The first being the availability of West Virginia's star running back Steve Slaton. He is nursing a sprained ankle, but will play tonight and even if he is limited, he has a capable backup in Eddie Davis. The next question is the Weather. Their may be a slight (30%) chance of rain tonight. It rained quite a bit in the last 24 hours in Morgantown, so their may be a slim advantage to West Virginia who is the better running team. Play small tonight. 2-Units on West Virginia -17.
