The Hot Hitting New York Mets welcome Hong Chih-Kuo to his first Major League Start on Friday night. Kuo has been pitching out of the bullpen for the Dodgers since his arrival from AAA Las Vegas where he went 3-3 with a 2.61 ERA in nine starts. The Mets will counter with John Maine who has been quite impressive this year. Maine is coming off two solid performances against Houston and Philadelphia, giving up only 4 runs in 12 innings of work. Now he goes up against a Dodgers team that has scored only 5 runs in their last 4 games. The Dodgers offensive problems will continue. Take the Mets.
