The Indians of the Sun Belt Conference under their fifth year Head Coach Steve Roberts look to improve on last season's Even Stephen 6-6 Straight Up and 5-6 Against The Spread record. They made it to the Bowl Scene for the first time ever, and covered the 16.5 point Dog line versus Southern Mississippi in a SU loss in the New Orleans Bowl. Not bad for a team ranked 115th in the nation in S.I. to start last season. Positive trends include 7-2 ATS as Home Dogs under Coach Roberts, 6-1 ATS as Home Dogs with Revenge, and 6-1 ATS Home versus non-Conference opponents. This game can be closer than expected this evening.
The Black Knights also look to improve for their third year Head Coach Bobby Ross, as they finished last season at 4-7 SU, and an Even Stephen 5-5 ATS. They whooped these Indians at Home last year 38-10 as 8.5 point Favorites. The Black Knights look to start the new year off right tonight. Negative trends include 0-4 ATS as Road Favorites since 1997, and 2-17 ATS with rest.

The Cyclones from the North Division of the Big Twelve Conference under their long-tenured Head Coach Dan McCarney look to improve off of last season's 7-5 SU and 6-4-1 ATS record. They Pushed the Field Goal line as Dogs in a 27-24 SU loss at the Houston Bowl to TCU. The Cyclones certainly deserve the Home Favorite's Role here tonight out of the Big Twelve Conference, but returning only 28 Lettermen may not help their ability to cover this one.
