What a great feeling to finally kick off another Free Play and Gold Key Winning Football Season with the annual Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Ohio. The Eagles of the NFC East Division under their eighth-year Head Coach Andy Reid finally bounced last season, at 6-10 Straight Up and 5-11 Against The Spread. They were plagued by injuries, and individual player's personality clashes. The Eagles do have the ability to rebound back to previous form, perhaps via addition by subtraction and the return of a healthy QB McNabb, even though most have written them off for 2006. Under Coach Reid the Eagles play about Even Stephen in the Pre-Season ATS, including 3-3 ATS in August and 4-4 ATS in non-Conference Exhibition events. We'll place a mind bet here on the Eagles to try to start fresh in hopes of returning to previous form.
The once brash and victorious Raiders of the AFC West look to turn things around after three seasons with a combined 13-35 SU and 14-32 ATS record, and have re-hired Art Shell to help do that. Coach Shell took the Raiders to the Playoffs in three out of his six seasons during his first stint for the Silver and Black. Aaron Brooks looks to take the calls behind Center during the Regular Season. Al Davis's men show recent stats of 0-5 ATS in August, and 12-20 ATS on grass during the Pre-Season.
The line overnited at Eagles -3. We'll go with the Eagles in the Exhibition here tonight in a Don't Go Crazy Free Play.
