Does anyone else use their basic fantasy games?????? they're free and you can create your own division.

I have used that site for all my fantasy games for about 4 or 5 years. It used to be called smallworld.com until sporting news bought them out. I have created many different little fantasy divisions from there for this forum in various sports. The Free Leagues kinda suck cause you have to buy trades every time you want to get rid of players. If you decide not to then you will fall way behind the people that do and it turns into a free for all on who buys the most trades. The pay leagues for 17.99 are the best. No buying trades, you get 3 Pitcher and 3 Hitter trades every week and everyone is on equal ground. I've done very well in the pay leagues there, very well.
................... and it's cheaper than the free one in the long run!

i ask this cause i will be in a league come this baseball season with some guys from work. if anyone else from this forum is using that service we can discuss trades and moves based on their player values. the basic league doesn't hold a draft so any player is eligiable to pick up at any time, which sucks in my opinion. either way exchanging insight through this forum is an excellent idea and hopefully we can help each other.

That's why i use that site for all my games. I love the fact that i can buy ANY player at ANY position. Drafts suck cause 1 or 2 injuries and your done. This is great cause if you play smart and put your money in the right places your team value will rise quickly. It's fun cause yes you will have some of the same players sometimes but it's where you choose to spend your money and that will decide your fate!Comment

Last year in the pay league i finished 27th out of about 17,000
My team value started at 50 million and at the end of the season it was up to 91 million. I had all the best at every position. :DComment

i agree that managing your money is one of their best features, but it seems like my whole league will always have at least 1 or 2 of the same guys!!!! its a little better for baseball cause there's games everyday vs football only one day a week, but when i find a "cheep sleeper" and everyone jumps on him, its gets to me. i'll def be using them this year wayne so if u got a team too we can watch each other's back!!!

It is a fun place to play and watching the daily price market is fun. Sometimes people are out of trades and they get stuck with people that are losing $120,000 a day and they can't do anything until they get trades. It's also funny when someone else has a pitcher going and you don't. They think their going to gain 100 points on you then their pitcher goes out and gets shelled leaving them with a -89 instead!
