    “NASCAR SURVIVOR”

League Rules- Pick one driver every week. You cannot use any driver twice.Only Nascar point races count. You will receive the driver points awarded each week for the driver you choose. The points will be from Nascar.com

If you use a driver twice or forget to turn in a pick, you will be given zero points for that race.

You will have to use almost every driver at least once so use them wisely! There will be a standings sheet every week of a point’s race, usually by Monday. We list the driver and points on the sheet so you can keep track of your drivers. The sheet with everyone’s Driver will be emailed out before the start of each race so you can see who the people above and below you have.

The Person at the end of the season with the most points will be the winner!

Deadline- The Daytona 500 is Sunday, February 19th. With that race and every one to follow the deadline to turn in picks is simply anytime before the race starts, but be careful as there are also Saturday races!

Turning in Picks - Please do not wait until the last minute to turn in your picks as we email out the driver choices before the start of each race.

    Price: $25 to play

Signing up - Play as many as you like. To sign up let me know here and i will email you. Your first pick and money must be turned in before the Daytona 500 on February 19th. Prize money will be set when we have a total number of players figured.

This is the 4th year i've done this and the last 3 have come down to the final race!

Reply here and email me for payment info ***********************

    Good Luck & Enjoy!

I made a deal with him that he has upheld by taking care of the NFL Survivor pool here. It earned him a free spot in each and well deserved for his work!

                    Wayne

I may join this just for the hell of it. I have no idea who all the drivers are, so is there a site I can go to & get a list of all drivers before each race?

                    Thanks,

                    Jimmy

Yes, I can even e-mail you a list of all the drivers before the start of the season if you want, with an idea (how good it is I don't know) of what tracks they excell at or have in the past.

Jimmy, It's actually fun to play in these. It's surprising how much more interesting a race is when you have someone to cheer for.

The "Key" is simple. Yes, some guys do better at some tracks compared to others but just go to Nascar.com a day before the race and click on qualifying to see where they are starting. You generally don't want a guy starting too low for obvious (accidents) reasons. You can also look for "Happy Hour" speeds at that same site. It is the final practice before the race and it gives you a feel for who's fast.

Finally, and maybe most important in helping you. Use the link below. It shows previous races from previous years. It gives the results from that race and shows where they started the race. You can go back to last year and the year before and see how drivers finished at that particular track. It will really help you get a feel for where drivers do well.

                          http://www.nascar.com/races/cup/2005/rr_index.html

3 Things: Qualifying, practice speeds, and the link above, past races and who does well at that track. If you can do the above 3 (and it literally takes 10 minutes) you can "Cap" a Nascar race and look pretty smart doing it!

Hope i didn't confuse you buddy!
