Welcome to the 2005 "Sirius" Baseball Challenge
This is my latest creation for a Bettorschat 2005 MLB Contest.
The Rules will be simple and the prize at the end will be the best yet (imo). I've done them for money, jersey's, and with Spark for Gift Cards in the daily contest. This one i gave alot of thought to and it will be given out at a perfect time!
Rules:
#1 - Pick one Underdog and one Favorite every Saturday during the MLB Season. Each game will count as One Unit each.
#2 - You can pick any game of your choice for each.
#3 - Closing lines from ********* will be used. You will be credited one way or the other for whatever it says there unless obvious error is noted.
#4 - If you fail to make picks you will be given a (0-2) -3.00 Unit record for that week. It will be -1.00 unit for the dog and -2.00 unit for the favorite.
#5 - If you pick 2 games and the closing line shows them both as favorite's or dogs you will be given that same (0-2) -3.00 unit record. Make sure the line is not too close to even so this doesn't happen either way.
#6 - This contest will run through the World Series. Every Saturday during the Playoffs and World Series the games will go from one unit each to three units each.
#7 - Picks will be made in the weekly thread ONLY and can be done well in advance of Saturday. I will try to get the thread up by Monday or Tuesday of each week. You will be able to look ahead at pitching matchups and post your plays if you are not going to be around.
#8 - DO NOT post a price or a pitcher with your teams. PLEASE post 2 team names and that's it, i'll do the rest!

This prize will be given out during October and in the middle of football season. Sirius has the NFL Contract and you can listen to every game going. It is GREAT! You can also put your favorite team logo on the screen. It is called the Sportster because it was made for the Sports Fan and it is set up that way.
If you can't install it yourself than you will have to pay for that to be done. Alot of people i know did the install themself.
There is a monthly charge for this and it's about $12 a month. You will be responsible for that too if you want the service.
I might limit this to 75 people with some over that for long time members who might have missed the thread.
