Sharing my thoughts about this Wake Forrest vs. Fla. St. match-up today , I find myself looking at something thats happened so many times in the past. After Fla. St. emotional victory against N.C. recently I have been left wondering what they have left in the tank for this tilt and if they are flat just how much so ?
My guess is semi-flat here and albeit they have a very good home rating (duh) I have to go with W.F. in a 8 to 12 range after all that back-slappin I feel they will fall hard in the 1st half and make a valiant but short come-back effort to lose this one .
In another great match-up today you have in my opinion ( and many others like Massey ) Tenn. who sports about the best home court addy there is in bizz , but they run into a very talented team in Louisville and the only hair in my soup is just how good are these Vols at home ? A very good rule of thumb in college b-ball has always been the " Away vs. Home " points scored and when you find a away team that scores more on the road than the home team does at home it usually translates into a victory . Not the case here as Tenn. does about 85 at the house while Louisville garners about 75 on the road so as much as I would like to use this one today ........ I pass !
