scoring update

MMM, i know you have tried to explain this a milllion times, but there are some people still confused.........

maybe this will make it easier

Easy way to do you own scoring.........20 games
step 1)forgetting about your star rated plays, take the number of wins- the number of losses = X

2)once you get that number, add or subtract the total you from the * rated plays = Y

X + Y = Z (final score for the week)
NOTE:: ASSUMING YOU USE ALL YOUR STAR RATED PLAYS DURING THE WEEK (3*, 5*, 10*, the only numbers Y could be (in desecnding order are 18, 12, 8, 2, -2, -8, -12, -18)....
making the maximum points in a week 38!!!!!!!!

For example, for the day i was::
1)number of wins (3) - number of losses (2) = (1), or X
2)i had 1 5* win giving me 5 points or Y
X (1) + Y (5) = Z (6)........

so 6 was my score of the day...........
i am not trying t be funny of make everyone feel like idiots, but i think this is a very simple way to explain it

if you read the rules your score should look like this :

3 - W = + 3 POINTS
3 - L = - 3 POINTS

5* = + 5 POINTS
10* = - 10 POINTS

So your totals look like a - 5 still ..... but I need every game played to be posted so I can make absolutely positive that everyone has played them and everyones game totals must remain the same because some people will not use thier bonus selections and your games will then be different and it will cause me a " ton " of extra work to find out why , and I dont want it !

So if you read the rules you will see that your tally should look like this :

3 -W / 3-L / + 5* / - 10*

Total = - 5

It will keep it simple because after all I would have to back check 86 x 20 games = 1720 a week and Im sure you dont want to give me a second job ?

Albeit :

Trotters & EZ`s posts are more than ask for they are very nice and very detailed . But in a effort to keep them small and quick to scan a simple score like my example will do just fine .

I saw 2 different scorings from EZ and Trotter.
Here are my plays scored 2 different ways. Which is right?

Seems as though some are adding the *plays twice. When actually all plays are 1* unless noted. The second scoring should be the right way giving me +6
