Ok guys, I'm going to do a Free MLB Survivor Pool. With a little thought, this is what i came up with.
You must pick 1 Team each week to win.
You will have all week to decide which day and which team you want to use.
Once you make a pick, no changes can be made based on a pitching change or anything else. You are stuck with it.
If the game you choose is rained out, you will be allowed to make another pick that week.
A no pick, double pick or missed pick that is not made up because of a rainout will count as a strike.
Weekly threads will start on Monday and end on Sunday.
You only make one pick per week. When you see a day where you love a certain team, you post it in the weekly thread and you are done for the week (Win or Lose).
You can't use any team twice.
Each time you pick a loser, it counts as a strike against you.
3 strikes and you are out!
No limit on the moneyline. You can take a team that is -280 or a team that is +150. It is your choice. Choose wisely because you will run out of the top teams after about week 10
This Pool will last 26 weeks with the last week being on Monday October 1st, and that is only a 3 day week to end the season.
If multiple people are still alive at the end of the regular season, I will come up with a postseason tiebreaker.
All members are welcome to play. Reply in this thread to get your name on the list.
I have not talked to Monte or Joe yet about this but i am sure they will help sponsor it as they always do.
Prize: Autographed Baseball from either Rays 3B Evan Longoria or P David Price
