Ok Guys, put your seatbelt on. I'm trying the College Football Fantasy League for the 1st time. I've never seen it before so it could be the 1st year CBS is doing it. This could be tricky and very interesting at the same time!
Cost: $30
Draft: Live Draft on August 23, 2009, 9:15 PM ET
Max. Teams: 10
Format: Head to Head. They treat it like a Conference in Football. There will be two 5 Team Divisions (East/West).
Schedule & Playoffs: Season Starts on 9/03/2009 and goes on for 11 weeks (Regular Season). When the Regular Season ends, 4 teams from the league will make the playoffs. The 2 division leaders and 2 wildcard teams, which are the teams with the best win/loss record in the league, excluding the 2 division leaders. The division leader with the best record going into the Playoffs Season will be the #1 seed, and the #1 seed will play the wildcard (seed #4) in the first playoff match in College Football Week 12. The other division leader will be seeded #2 and play against the other wildcard team (seeded #3).
Teams: Each team will draft 14 players from the 6 Conferences i chose (ACC,BIG 12,Big East,Big Ten,Pac 10,SEC). Each week you will need to start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Defensive/Special Teams. That leaves 5 on the bench. They require you to draft 3 QB's, 3 RB's, 4 WR's, 2 TE, 2 K, 2 Defensive/Special Teams. I can't change that.
Payouts: 1st - ($200) 2nd - ($100)
Scoring: Scoring is also set by CBS and we cannot change it.

NOTE: If a Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division 1-A) team is playing a non-Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division 1-A) team, the Football Bowl Subdivision team will only receive 75% of its actual points. For instance, if Miami, who is a Football Bowl Subdivision team is playing The Citadel, who is not a Football Bowl Subdivision team you would only receive 75% of the points that a Miami player scored. If you started Jacory Harris in that game, and he scored 32 points, your fantasy team would be awarded 24 points.
There are only 9 spots remaing after me. If interested, email me for payment details and a link.
