MLB 1st Half Contest Week #3 Day 1 April 19th

1. You must pick exactly 5 sides per week, Money Lines Only, No Run Lines. All games must be -150 or less. If the closing line ends up higher at scoresandodds (IE, Current lines) then you will have to make that game up.
2. Pitching changes still count so take that into consideration
3. If a game is rained out that does not count against your 5 picks for the week.
4. Closing lines from scoresandodds will be used (IE, Current lines)
5. Winner for the First half of the season which is when the All Star break takes place and will be the person with the most units won. In case of a tie a tie-breaker to be determined later will be made up.
6. This contest is for regular posting members! If you're not a regular posting member you can play, however you must contribute outside of the contest! Which means posting plays, talking sports, talking non gambling. You cannot just go around wishing people good luck or gl.
7. Only 1 entry per person per contest.
8. You can make more than 1 side pick per day, but only 1 post per day. In other words if you make a side pick early in the day you cannot come back later that day to make another pick.
8. Please try to keep your games in rotation order as it makes it easier grading them. Also make sure to keep up with how many games you have played for the week
9. Weeks Start on Sunday and go through too the following Saturday.
10. First week Starts on Sunday April 5th 2009
11. There will be a thread for each day of each week for you to post play/plays you may have for that day in. Just so everyone knows.... there were several people who failed to make enough picks last week. I post the next day what games finish over the -152 limit. If you failed to check the closing lines or the next days post and failed to make the pick up, too bad you were 0-1 -1unit for each missing play.

There were no lines which people chose that closed above the limit on Saturday so no one needs to make a pick up today for that.

Mavs... you had in week 2 the following:

4/12 Giants L
4/13 Baltimore W
4/13 Tampa Bay Line closed at -154 so it was a no play
4/15 Yankees W
4/16 Toronto W

As you can see you only had 4 picks that counted so the 5th pick was an automatic loss. See my post on 4/14 concerning the Tampa Bay game on the 13th. You were 3-2 on the week as a result.

New standings will be posted in a bit which include last nights games.


Yesterday, those who picked the Red Sox and Devil Rays need to make those games up this week. Both closed above the number. Sorry guys, but you know who you are so please make them up.

Thanks X for all you are helping with here, tough job. Would have been easier if it was just opening line 150 or less, then no missed plays and additional hassle.

Other thought, maybe a thread in contests JUST for the Standings to keep them seperate.
