This will be our 3rd year doing a Capping Contest for Football.

Things will be a little different and better this season. I will not have to receive picks through email anymore. You will now go to a specific website setup for this pool where you can turn your picks in yourself.


Rules:

1 - You must pick 5 NFL games of your choice each week versus the spread.

2 - I will Post the lines each week at the site page by Wednesday night and they will be locked in at that number.

3 - Like the Hilton Contest, ONLY Sides can be used (No Totals).

4 - This will go straight through to the Super Bowl. All Regular Season & Playoff games (Including the Super Bowl) will be worth 2 points each (1 for a push).

5 - The Deadline for Picks will be Sunday @ 12 PM est.

6 - I will determine the payouts when i see how many people are playing.

7 - We will be using a special website to turn in our picks this season. The picks, stats and standings are all done by computer right at the site. There will be no more emails or emails lost. There will be no more late picks or reasons why i didn't receive them. There will be a deadline controlled by the Website and you must follow it. The past 2 seasons have been a ton of work with this pool and now it will be self sufficient and it will run on it's own. The site was given to me by Tony Vegas and it is very cool. It shows weekly standings and many other interesting things.

8 - You must email me if interested because i need to copy & paste your email addy into an invite from the pool page. You will need to take 5 minutes to sign up there and put your name in the pool. I will post a "Sticky" here each week reminding people to make their picks. Don't wait until the last minute to sign up because you might get shutout.


I made a few changes this year. You are not "Forced" to pick Monday night games this year and Playoff points are worth 2 points, just like the regular season. You will also pick 5 games every week instead of 4 and picks will be made at a special site pool page instead of being emailed to me.

If you are interested in playing, PLEASE respond HERE and send me a email for payment info. You will not be allowed to play unless i have your money 1st. Check or Money Order through mail is your option.

Not trying to be argumentative, Post 1 Rules:

Are all Picks for Week 1 to be submitted by Thursday?
Will the Lines for Week 1 still be Posted on Wednesday?
This could cause quite a Snafu if players don't realize
and are Locked Out on Sunday.

I will have to change that. The 12 pm thing was from the old rules i copied & pasted before finding the website. Hopefully anyone who entered will read the site rules anyway. In red it does say the deadline will be controlled by the website.
