NFL "Capping Contest" Pick Thread (Week 21)

oh also wayne, will you be able to post everyone's plays at least an hour before kickoff? Depending on who picks what...some of us might be able to hedge a bet or create some sort of middleing opportunity....thanks.

Talk to the people who continue to turn their picks in 10 minutes before kickoff. I would post them tomm. if i could. I post them when i get them and that is usually around pre game.

ugh, First place from week 9 til week 17. Now I need some luck to even place in the money.

That is why we should not have such higher points for play offs. Especially the SB.

I mean, you do well for 16 weeks and then some other got luck during the playoffs and knock you out.

Maybe, we can give some Cash for regular seasons and also overall winners with the playoffs.

This is what i'm going to do. We will pick 5 games per week and all playoff games, for 1 point each. The Super Bowl will be worth 2.5 points (1/2 of 1 week total). I think 2.5 is a good odd number that will give people one final chance to find the money with the final game. I really want to weight the Super Bowl because, well, it's the Super Bowl!

That will also mean that 16 more games will have to be picked ats than this year. The SB points of 2.5 are also less than the 3 this year. Both changes should be good!

Yeah that sounds great man and I dont think you get thanked enough for running a million pools.....so again thanks...it really is appreciated

Also I noticed on CBS that we can do picks with spreads.......maybe we can do this pool on CBS like we do with the regular Pkem and that will get a huge load off of your plate on game day if there is a way that we can make it just pick 5 games instead of every game on the board.....just a thought

well only the top 6 matter to me.....wayne, maybe next year there is some sort of penelty for not getting picks in by the stated deadline? 1 time being late is acceptable....but if people are constantly turning them real late....maybe their picks shouldn't count? I mean other than now it doesn't matter to me....but it sounds like it makes running the contest harder on you.

I'd love to enforce the rule. People get pissed though and mad at me like it's my fault.

In BOLD WORDS ... 3 Hours before the 1st kickoff. I never ever have all the picks by then. I'm usually lucky if i have 1/2.
