I really hope you are right but Boston never has more team HR's than N.Y. or wins. They also usually finish behind N.Y. in runs scored every year whether they win the division by 1 game or 10. Even the year Boston won it all in '04. They knocked N.Y. out and received a bunch of added points after sweeping St Louis ... and N.Y. STILL kicked their ass in this pool. Boston can't do much better than that. I like it because it sucks the locals in to taking Boston EVERY year!

We both learned that the last couple of years and it showed in both of our drafts. I saw and knew what you were doing (wink, wink). I told kb to do the same and my fiance drafted her own team too ... The same way. All i told her was the amount of players to draft at each position and she made her own picks with her own cheat sheets. I see many teams out there with 5 or 6 offensive bats on the bench.

You are right, plenty of offense is still available but pitching ...

      • I just offered BW a trade with 3 bats for 1 arm

GL with that. He has no interest in picking up 3 bats and dropping 3 pitchers to do it. I guarantee that. Read above!

              • Great pickup. I have him in our other league. You can use him in 2 positions which is key and he looked good starting for Boston last year. Should get some good points with him and that offense he has behind him.

                • You think Noah Lowry is also worth picking up?

                    • If he sucks after 2 starts, you ditch him!

                      • Who should I drop? Mark Loretta, Moises Alou, or Rich Aurilia?

I'm leaning Alou since I already have 4 OF's anyway.

I'm falling for it. Dice K is the best starter on either teams staff, IMO.
