2007 MLB “TEAM” BALL
Cost: $25.00
All your biggest decisions will be made before the season starts. You will have 9 Teams, one from each inning (group) below. There will be No Trades or Changes once the season starts. Standings sheets will be out each week and all you have to do is watch the path your teams travel. The groups below are about as equal in strength and talent as i could get them so make the right choices to gain the top spot in the standings. All games through the World Series count. If your teams do not make the playoffs then you could lose ground, or if others get swept you may gain on them. This is my 4th year with this pool and the last 3 years went right down to the wire! If you think it looks easy, give it a try!
Scoring
Team Win = +5 pts.
Runs Scored = +1 pt.
Runs Against = -1 pt.
Home Runs = +1 pt.
Bonus Pts.
World Series Winner = +25 pts.
After the World Series the points will be added and a champion will be crowned! Payouts will be decided when total number of players is determined. We had about 50 people in it the 1st year, an even 100 people in '05 and about 75 in '06. Draft your teams and turn them in before the season starts on Sunday April 1st.
