Why did 300 services enter the friggin' Hilton contest? Isn't that in itself an answer? Ask Monte why services do it. We know your reasons and they are lame to say the least.

Wayne I don't know why 300 other services do it. I am not concerned with the other services. I don't even want to begin to assume why they do what they do.

I will say again I am a bit suprised how harsh you are with me in this. If my family is LAME to you, then so be it. If my clients come first to me and that is lame to you, then so be it. I can sleep very well at night knowing that I am a very honest and respected handicapper. Not everyone has to like me or respect me. I don't win every single day and some of you hear can attest to that. But I pride myself in my decision making because they are all made based on what is best for me and my family. If I can get some answers that suggest that this would be a good thing for me and my family then I would invest in this contest. However, I have more cons then pros at this moment.

I still don't have an answer to my question.

If YOU were my client, how would you react to this?

Rook- the plays are on your website for August and I give you credit for posting what appears to be honest results. IMO 15 plays on the weekends and 7-8 per day is not very selective. I don't think anyone can be that knowledgeable in all sports. Good luck though.

You are correct...that is a lot of plays. However I don't have clients that play everything. Some play just soccer, some play just baseball, some Nascar, some mix and match.

It looks like a lot. Your correct. And if you were to play every single one, you would be correct, but I don't have anyone that does that.

I just have to post the results for everything.

Do them by email and don't post them on here until 15 minutes after the games start. Why is that hard? I don't believe in services. If they made so much money with their plays, why do they need to sell them? simple they don't...end of story.

I respect your opinion believe it or not 100%. Not everyone does. You must have the time or the ability to cap games on your own. however there are a lot of guys who don't. THat's who I target. Those that don't have the time or don't want to spend the time to cap the games.

There really is nothing (in my case at least) else to it for me.

Those that need advice, that's what I'm here for. Those that don't....fantastic. More power to you.

1st off if i was a client i wouldn't care cause it excludes 75% of all the games (1 pm). We made decisions too john and one was to let you float freely. You are not nearly as respected as you claim or want to be. This would have confirmed or helped that but you are no different than the rest john. All services or alot have families. Do they play that card with every talk. Probably not, it was a business discussion. You know, we help you a little, and you throw a little back in return?

I have no respect for services and you are truly one of them according to this thread. I/We thought you were maybe a little "Different" than the rest .....,.

That's a lot of insults thrown my way Wayne....and I think they are very un-deserved.

I will gladly sponser $50 if that would make things better. If it's about the money, we can work around that. I have no problem adding to the pot for one or two of the contests.

I make my LIVING by selling my picks. I have no other job, no other source of income.

This statement alone would tell me you are a total "service".

Get a real job and like somebody else said, If you or any service could pick games, you wouldn't have to "sell" them.

Rook is obviously a service and not sure why he gets special privileges but is none of my business. He seems like a straight up guy except for some statements like "6 spots only left" which is TOTALLY service. He posts his picks on his website which is better than most services ever do. Most use the bogus "sports monitor" routine.

TV...It's not the documented record. I sent my picks to Spark every single day and he's got them on his computer. I have NO PROBLEM with documenting my games.

I have ZERO problem with having my games seen after kickoff. I have nothing to be ashamed of. If I have a great day, great, if I don't ....well then we'll get em next time.

It's posting them before they start is where I have my issue. And posting the Monday night games or the Sunday night game if I like it hours or a day before. It doesn't make business sense for me.

My offer is out there because I do have a lot of freedom here to shoot the shit, and I've always said it's appreciated. I will gladly put up for one or two contests if that shows my appreciation to Wayne, Monte, Spark and the rest.

He isn't just "A" Service though tony. He is the ONLY Service here that was given free reign to post comments or threads in any forum. Spark "Assumed" he was in and i received an email from him 2 weeks ago saying he WAS going to play in the pools.

I played in the Hilton last year and watched some great services post 5 games a week freely and grab attention. When he came back with the "My Clients" shit ... I couldn't believe it ... and neither could joe!

That is fine but there are only 15 guys in the contest. And I know Wayne and myself at the very least don't buy picks. So in that case there are 13 people that would see the picks. Doesn't seem like that big a deal to me.
