If i had to do it again i do not think i could muster the strength.......I am a non-smoker and she had been chainsmoking and i have been sleeping on a couch for 2 months.....

but when it is family you just have to step up...especially when you feel the medical care is sub-standard

My mom is a recovering alcoholic and also a chain smoker(I dont smoke). She ran into medical problems about 7 years ago and me and my brother moved her from Ga to Kentucky. She lived with me for 6 months, talk about hard it sucked. But like you said, its family and you do what you have to do.

She has her own place now and has a ton of medical problems but she can at least manage on her own.

Great to hear your Mom is doing better, TTT...always tough for a sibling to take care of a parent.

I would like to start a fundraiser for Rook. It has come to my attention that he can not tie his shoes without passing out......I am spearheading the effort to get him some sporty sneakers that have the velcro closures.....

I am also very concerned that if he gets any bigger his arms may not be long enough to reach to wipe his ass.....

At that point JC we may have to fly down there and wheel him around the streets of south carolina like that big mexican dude......

We will have to put an ad in the paper for someone to clean under his folds......

I am donating $5 for the velcro sneakers.....

The big challenge is to find them in a childs 13......
