Your house is single phase, 120/240 volt, the bank you work at is either 120/208 volt 3 phase or 480/277 volt 3 phase.
The higher the voltage the lesser the amperage. And that my friend is today's lesson in electricity.

regular 120 V single phase uses 1 hot wire and 1 neutral, whereas 3 phase uses 3 hot wires
seeing how im hardly on here recently, your statement is kinda true. I bet Kapt can explain it better than all of us
