Np, all these guys have a lot of insight . Also, the quarter lines and the half lines rock. I play them often. Sometimes for the suckers, but there are some good deals imo. Good luck Bears!
    Good Luck as always!

That’s right. Like boxing , everyone wants to be undefeated, this game doesn’t work like that!

      Go Bears

Here is what a friend of my and I did for Bodog using a checking account:

Open a separate checking account that you will use strictly for betting or would rarely write checks for. The one I use is used by my wife and she maybe writes a check once every 3 months and I keep a small balance on the account. When I want to make a deposit, I'll go and deposit money into the checking acct and the same amount goes to Bodog. No fees and funds are there right away for betting. Withdrawls are in your checking acct within a day or 2. Works great and Bodog is a trustworthy book. Good luck with funding an online acct.

I believe the Patriot Act is the main reason you can't fund your online accounts, didn't have trouble with Visa until around 3 years ago.
      Posted record as of 03/12/08:

      NBA 35-33 -.22 units
      NCAA Basketball 12-14-1 -3.08 units

I started having problems using VISA a little over a year ago. VISA finally figured out that certain electronic processing companies were being used by the offshore books. For awhile Mastercard would still work, but now VISA and MC both deny everything before the request even gets to the bank. I had a good thing going because I would get frequent flyer miles for all my deposits using VISA but my offshore sent my winnings to me by Fed Express and they didn't get deducted from my charges.

I was pissed off about something awhile ago and got into arguement wth the bank about banks only letting charges go thru from sources they morally agreed with. We went back and forth until they told me the reason they won't take VISA charges is because VISA and Mastercard allow customers to dispute problems they have with merchants and the amount being disputed is set aside so you don't have to pay interest until the dispute is resolved. They kept getting disputes from customers who lost money betting with an offshore and who didn't want to pay their VISA bill. So they stopped processing anything they thought was for gambling.

The best way to make deposits into your offshore accounts is by using EFS, Electronic Fund Transfers. It's instant, can be done right on the larger offshore books web site and is free. No fees like neteller, which charges almost 9% in fees.

I've used Olympic for years and have never had problems depositing by Mastercard (phone or internet). Withdrawls I take by Neteller, can't put the cash back on the card.

              thesandman,

Most books take care of the Neteller fees when you deposit and have a once a month free withdrawal.

I use Western Union. It is easy (although somewhat expensive) and the funds hit my account at Pinnacle in less than an hour (Pinnacle).

Pinnacle will pay the Western Union fees if you deposit at least $1,000.

I used to fund accounts with a Mastercard for years. Recently got rid of it and got a Visa with the same bank and it gets denied at all my sportsbooks. Spoke with my bank and they said it is getting denied because internet gambling site are technically illegal in most states. I ask how come my old MC was always accepted. The bank said since 911 they have been forced to place more restrictions on where credit cards can be used via the net. No credit card are supossed to be allowed to fund gaming or gambling sites.
Neteller is the easiest although it can take a few days to get your money in your account. You can use Firepay almost immediately to fund accounts from your banking accounts. But a Firepay deposit into some books is consider a credit card deposit and they won't honor bonuses.

Set up a poker account at Paradise Poker.com which is connected to Sportsbook.com. Transfer money into your poker account useing NETELLER instant cash which has a charge of 8.9 percent BUT Paradise WILL pay this 8.9 percent for you then just transfer it into your sports book act. Now the cash will be taken out of your checking act. with in a day or to and if you need to you can put money in your checking acount from your cedit dard. Sounds complicated but it will work.

That's true but since I'm already getting a reup bonus, my book will reimburse just 5% of the Netteller fee. But why pay the other 3.9% when EFS is free.

Just opened an account with pinnacle and used my Mastercard and it went through. Yes, there is some hassle do to the fact you have to send copies of cc, d/l, and a agreement form signed. My problem is that my email to them has not been able to go through. Scanned the info in (which is the only way they will accept it) attached it to the email. Large file so I am not sure if that is why it is having difficulty. Any one else ran into this problem?
