Off Shore Gaming Withdrawal

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knew how long it takes for a offshore check to clear at the bank. I should be receving my check on Thursaday. I'm leaving for Vegas on the following thursday. I'm hoping to have a little extra dough to gamble with.

Mike it should clear.... my royal check for $5000 cleared 2 days. GL IN VEGAS

It depends on your bank's internal controls. I bank at Citibank here and they will take 3 business days to clear an out of state check which is ridiculous. I would bet on somewhere between 3 - 5 business days to be safe (probably closer to 5). Some bigger offshore sportsbooks may have a bank domiciled in the US (I think WSEX does from past experience) and that would put you at only a few days.

Thanks guys, I wish I had a laptop to bring to Vegas. Guess I'll have to just go with gut on my sports wagers.
