  • Pinnacle takes games down before they start

Pinnacle, once again last Sunday took NFL games off the board before the games started.

Are you sure? I don't see why they would do that as that would cost them money. How much time before the games went are you saying that they took them down?

At least five minutes. Wizard acknowledged that it also happened to him.

And they will take all the games down that are scheduled for say 1:05.

At times during the baseball season they would also take all the games down early before say a 7:05 scheduled start.

And it did not matter whether it was on the internet or by telephone.

Pinnacle is my only sports book and it happened to me too. I was going to make a wager on the Nascar on Saturday and it closed about 5 minutes before it was suppose to.

they have on numerous ocassions done this to me with 5-6 minutes left before game time....One time was about 9 minutes...I thought my clock was wrong, so checked it out, clock was right, called via land line, game still hadn't started, but was taken off the board..asked for a supervisor, all this time the clock is ticking, finally got a super 4-5 minutes before game time, the damn game was on TV, and I was watching the announcers, teams hadn't even took the field yet---told this to Super--his reply was--they don't have any control of when a game is taken off the board...

I asked him if there was a TV nearby, he said yes, I asked him to look at the station to verify that the game hadn't even started yet---he did--put me on hold--came back and said he was sorry--but it was beyond his control---game was taken off the board...
I said that was pitiful---and hung up...and by the way--the game still hadn't started....I haven't had any desire to be with Pinacle since....Thats my version...More than once--4-5 times--not a coincedence--You state they would lose money---not always so--what if those games were being wagered and they knew they were on the wrong side...Thats my take...kmann

They must have enough action on that game that they don't want anymore. Or the game is so lopsided that they take it down, because they have to lay money down on the other side with another book. Other than that I really don't know why they would do that.

I've also had an incident where part of my balance, all of a sudden was missing. They eventually cleared it up but I missed a chance to place a couple of wagers that would have won because my funds weren't available. Man I was pissed. Nothing is perfect I guess, even with an A+ book
