  • Winter travel to somewhere warm with kids

We are restricted by the school year schedule but are trying to think of where we might want to go with kids, somewhere warm, over the winter. Not sure we want to do an all inclusive. We’ve done a cruise and enjoyed it but want to do something different. What warm destinations have you enjoyed with kids around 8 years old?

This winter, we discovered the best resort ever that felt like a winter wonderland, perfect for kids and parents. Westgate's Branson hotels had the atmosphere you see in movies, with the delightful scent of hot chocolate and festive holiday cheer everywhere It was a refreshing change from our usual cruise. Will defo go back.

For a warm winter destination with kids around 8 years old, I recommend considering Hawaii, Costa Rica, Florida, Southern California, or Mexico. Hawaii offers beautiful beaches, volcano tours, and plenty of outdoor activities. Costa Rica is perfect for nature lovers, with rainforests, wildlife, and adventurous activities like zip-lining. Florida has options like Disney World, Universal Studios, and great beaches in the Keys. Southern California offers family-friendly attractions such as Disneyland, LEGOLAND, and the San Diego Zoo. Mexico, especially the Riviera Maya or Puerto Vallarta, provides beautiful beaches and eco-parks to explore.
