  • Do New Toons have to 2 Factor Authentication turned on?

Ive just made some new toons 15 new accounts and 15 new toons and as per normal..I dont set secret Questions n stuff. Just create the account, login bypassing launchpad, create the character.

But for some reason - I cannot log into any of the new toons. It just gives me a Timeout occured error.
I added 2FA and secret question to one of them...and now it lets me login....but other toons are still giving timeout.

    Anyone else having this issue?

You got flagged as a bot it happens if you create too many accounts within a certain period of time. You will have to set the sq and add a phone # to all the accounts now.

I know it's been a while, but When it comes to new toons and 2-factor Authentication (2FA), it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some games require 2FA to be turned on for new accounts to keep everything more secure. But not all of them do. If you’re jumping into a game for the first time, it’s worth checking if they prompt you to set up 2FA during registration. If not, you might want to enable it yourself to be on the safe side. It adds an extra layer of security, which is always good. If you don’t want to use your phone number for 2FA, you can always use a free temporary phone number to complete the job. It’s a handy way to protect your privacy without any hassle.

Yeah, I’ve run into that same problem before. I had a bunch of new toons made without bothering with the secret questions or 2FA, and they all gave me timeout errors too. After messing around for a bit, I ended up adding the 2FA and security questions like you did, and suddenly everything worked fine. It’s annoying, but it seems like the system needs those set up to let you log in properly. Probably worth just setting it up for all of them to avoid more issues.
