  • Tax on food at bakeries in CA?

I have noticed some bakeries and cafes are charging tax on to-go foods. It was my understanding that cold foods were exempt from tax. What's the deal?

Wow, that's a fascinating dive into the history of taxation in America! The customs houses and their significance, especially during George Washington's inauguration, add such a rich layer to our past.

It's interesting to see how the spirit of taxing non-essential items continues today, even though the focus has shifted. On a somewhat related note, have you ever checked out resources at MK Library? They might have some interesting insights into historical contexts like these!

Hey guys, sorry if my question is off topic. Is there any Spanish restaurant in California or cities like Pasadena? I know only about Dos Besos but want to explore more Spanish Restaurant in Pasadena. Can someone please suggest?

      TIA!
