  • Integrate MP4 videos

    Hi All.
I've got a load of MP4 music videos and was wanting to create a 'juke box' type of system using loxone.
Thoughts was going to use a, HDanywhere matrix switcher for the video side of it, so you can send a secondary video output from a PC to the switcher to control the video to whatever room/zone required. However is the loxone music server or the MS4L compatible with mp4 files like they are with mp3's? Also what methods of creating playlists would you go for? using the squeezebox playlists or a itunes playlist etc?

Or shall i just forget the idea?

The Loxone music server works well with MP3s, but for MP4 files, it could be better. Your HD anywhere switcher idea for the video part sounds clever.
Have you tried out Movavi for your MP4s? It's a solid choice for Windows and Mac users - like a great final cut for Windows. I used it for some home videos, and it was surprisingly easy to use. It's got cool editing features, can convert formats without a fuss, and the interface is super beginner-friendly.
