Windows 11....A waste of time and energy or worth getting going???

I noticed a few days ago that Windows 11 is becoming available for download and installation. Nothing is INSISTING but as all of us want.....We MUST have the newest and latest puter stuff. Or is in SH.T???????? Have downloaded it, backed up my unit to the cloud, did a check to see if my hardware is compatible, and ready to say, fire away and push that button............

The question, is it worth doing? Is it gonna totally mess up my unit and work? Is it gonna just be a flash in the pan as the 7 and 8 series were????? OK.....WHATCHA THINK????..................thanks

I get your dilemma! Upgrading to a new OS can be a mixed bag. Windows 11 does have some cool features, but it also might have some compatibility quirks, depending on your hardware and software. Backing up is a smart move. I'd say if your current setup is working well for you, no need to rush. Here's a guide on how to get the windows key if you still decide to do it. Good luck!
