My new Celsior has a unit mounted under the rear parcel shelf which is an air purifier unit with an ion generator but disappointingly no flux capacitor.
Anyway back to the present, according to the instruction manual there is some nasty high voltage stuff inside, an ultra violet source and a replaceable filter.
Mmmmmm...I wonder if that filter needs replacing, I’ll check the price but probably around the usual pollen filter price of ?40.00 odd.
Toyodiy let’s have a look, good job I was sitting down .... $219.35. Amayama have them up for ?70.00 plus shipping plus import taxes but still going to be ?100.00.
Probably never been replaced, certainly never will be, if a warning ever comes up it will be in Japanese anyway.
Also went to the local garden centre today and filled the boot with bedding plants. By the time I got home they had grown 6” taller and were in full bloom....you can’t beat purified ionised air. Lexus in pursuit of purification.
