2002 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD/48re ECSB. This is a slob of a truck (minus a long bed) that I use for towing the camper and sled trailer and hauling misc stuff that you do with a truck. I have had Cooper Discoverer AT3's, Toyo Open Country AT II's and now Comforser CF3000(got them dirt cheap - couldn't pass them up). The CF3000 actually isn't a bad tire at all for as gnarly as the tread design is but it doesn't have a heavy sidewall to support the truck I feel. I'm kinda weird and like to replace tires before they are gone and recoup some of the money spent on the new set too. It has actually worked out well and I feel like a tire tester lol.
This time around I went with Hankook Dynapro ATM's. Anyone have any experience with them? A friend had them on a Envoy and said they were a great tire. They are heavy being 10 ply but supposedly wear good and flat.
They get pretty good reviews for traction in various conditions. I couldn't pass on the price for 33" tires and again, will sell the CF's for a couple hundred and make the deal even better. It may be a week or so before they are installed but I will follow up with my thoughts on them.
