Recently, I opened an new account with an initial deposit of 200 via Western Union. I did really well and my bankroll was close to 2K. When come to request for a payout, I was told my account was closed and they had to investigate all of my bets. I went like 10-2 over the weekend and all my bets were singles. At the same time, I was asked to send over my personal info. like DL, utility bill to identify myself. Can a book do that? stall you in the middle of a hot streak? and I wonder if they will pay me after all I faxed them all of my requested documents.

A lot of books will require for you to send them/fax personal info. Pinnacle does it as do some others. How have they stiffed you? By requesting some info? Usually when a book requests such info they suspect fraud by either the better or someone trying to cash out the better's account.
Send me your account # and I will send an e-mail to someone there to see what's going on.
I've sent you an e-mail asking for the account # so I can contact someone at sportingbet on your behalf.Last edited by BettorsChat; 02-24-2004, 09:03 AM.

Well, I just found out that you opened the account on Saturday and made a request for a payout of $800 out of $2000 balance on Sunday. You went from $200 postup to a $2000 balance. Them asking for your info to verify everything is ok as they are trying to prevent any fraud within a 36 hour period of signup to requesting a payout.
More info later

Account has been taken care of as the above player was playing with sportsbook.com and at one point had multiple accounts at another book owned by the sportingbet.com group called sportfanatik.com
Player was told a long time ago that he needed to have only 1 account and not multiple as they don't allow players to continue to reap the bonus'es with more than 1 account. Player agreed and the sportsbook put all accounts into 1.
Player is in the process of receiving his payout from sportsbook.com
