Beware of the low life scum posting on many sites on the web. The site is databets, which offers online wagering with agents They offer offshore gambling with minimal post up. It's nothing but a scam, yes they got me. I played for a week and up a little over $7000.
NO, they are not paying. The guy was on bettorschat forum posting looking for players, I gave it a shot and got FUCKED. If anyone that reads this is playing with these people, your going to get screwed. If you are playing with them and you owe, DON'T PAY THEM.....
I have some info on them, if you have any, please post as I will get some satisfaction from my stupidity. The guy had the balls to bitch I wasn't giving him enough action.His e-mail is tonyvep@******.***

databets is a service that bookies subscribe to in order to handle the processing of their client's bets. Whether you get paid or not is not a function of databets.

I've been using databets for over 2 years and never had a problem picking up because my bookie is reliable.

According to datbets website they only take the wagers for the landbased sportsbook. It doesn't state that they allow locals to book as it states landbased sportsbooks. It even states they are committed to working with reputable land-based sportsbooks.

So I would contact them and report this guy for not paying you as they should cut him off. Now if he's an agent for a sportsbook you might find out which book.

I'm not blaming databets, I can read the disclaimer. I'm pointing out, that unless you know the book you are dealing with don't trust it. Just trying to give a heads up cause this guy is posting all over the web.

that sounds like you're blaming databets, if you posted

wiz, ive been using databets for a year its just informational for them. they give my info to a book at the end of the week and i either pay him or he pays me. seems to work well but if you have a book who doesnt pay your screwed.

The page Web is administered by the company International Data Solutions (IDS), that has its offices in the commercial center Heredia Plaza.

This newspaper visited the company Tuesday and one of its representatives, Jesse Gingold, affirmed not to know about the accusation.

He explained that IDS is not a sportsbook, but a supplier of services. No we have nothing to do with the bets, what we do is to take the registries of people who are in that business. If some of our clients are doing something illegal,then it's they should pay.


RIVERHEAD, N.Y. -- Nine reputed Bonanno family members were arraigned Tuesday on racketeering charges for operating a gambling ring with offices in the Bronx and Costa Rica, authorities said.

The defendants were also charged with various counts of promoting gambling, and they were ordered held on bail ranging as high as $250,000. If convicted on the racketeering charge, they could face up to 25 years in prison, said Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota.

According to the indictment, the gambling ring was tracked by undercover detectives between May and August of this year. The ringleader was identified as Bonanno soldier Anthony Frascone, 54, of East Meadow.

They were all due back in court before Suffolk County Judge James F.X. Doyle on Jan. 28.

From what i know

From what i know about databets.com they dont handle any accounting. They simply lease out their services to books(mostly US based) hold all transactions via the net or call center, and just relay that info at the end of the week to the book paying for thier service, and it is upto your local book that you go thru to get paid. Databets.com doesnt pay anything, they only make money from books using their service. I would contact databets and let them know that you never got paid and maybe databets will discontinue doing businees with these non paying books.

See the problem with databets is that it is easy for anybody to contact them to try to start their own book. Even with no capital, trying to take a shot at a get rich quick scheme, hense the reason you prolly didnt get paid. And in turn the local book can just lay the blame on databets and say they refuse to pay, when in all actuallity it was the man in your face who refuses to pay!
