PHOENIX - It could give Arizona casinos a run for their money as a new gambling proposal has surfaced at the state legislature: a plan to legalize gambling at Arizona dog and horse tracks.
Freshman Republican Representative John Fillmore of Apache Junction introduced the bill, but it's not clear how far it will get.
Previous attempts to legalize this in Arizona have failed.
Currently, casinos are operated solely by Indian tribes in Arizona.
