Women's ettiquette

Is there a certain ettiquette at the table? I saw this during a lady event of the 2010 World Series Of Poker, in the buy-in no-limit holdem, about 4 tables over the entire table gets up at the same time, it seems like one of the girls had to use the bathroom and instead of letting her blind out the the other ladies mercifully got up and went to use the bathroom together. The dealer didn't know what to do and was stopped by the floor person because he needed at least a player to return before starting back.
