Everyone on this site should be pissed at Frist and the Republicans for what BS they did. And it's not about picking sides or drawing lines in the sand over political parties. If a Democrat had did this I would say that sucked and are an asshole. So my question is where are the Republican people on this site and the outrage over what frist did.

I was outraged. And I did the form letters from Poker Players Alliance to both my Senators and Congressmen about it too. However, I'm not going to let that sway my main political ideology.

It doesn't have to, but it was a shitty move by a republican and it put Democrats in a shitty position where they had no choice but to vote for it. If they didn't then it looked like they didn't care about port security.

You are correct. But there are all kinds of votes that are staged purely to make one party look good or bad. The appointed Dem Senator from Colorado that is up for election next fall proposed some bill that was like "I don't want to kill old people" (exageration, but I don't remember the exact purpose) and it passed solely for the purpose of him being able to campaign on it. It goes both ways all the time unfortunately.
