  • Poker/depositing question??

If I made a deposit for full tilt with the E-check option and when FT goes to get the money there isn't enough in my account so the bank rejects them what will happen?

I put in 500, ran it up to 2k or so, saw a bunch of posts I forgot about hit my checking account after the weekend and now I know my bank is gonna give FT a NSF (non sufficient funds)....

I emailed FT and told them I'd like to send them the 500 in form of a credit card, they say they have to try and get the money the original way and if it doesn't work they will have to temporarily suspend or "freeze" the account, then I can contact them about the deposit situation..

My question is WILL THEY KEEP THE MONEY? Or will I be able to reimburse my deposit and keep my winnings??

    Thanks fellas

Two things will happen with the transaction on your bank's end:

    1. They will honor it, put you into the negative, and asses you an NSF fee.

    2. They will return it and assess you an NSF fee.

If #1 happens, Full Tilt won't even know that it put you in the negative and everything will be fine for you and them.

If #2 happens, then who knows. I wouldn't be shocked if they took your profit away b/c the deposit transaction didn't clear for them.

#2 is gonna happen, for sure...

I was just told they'll try it once, then again, and after that they'll stop trying. At which point I can deposit with another method. Only problem is the account will be frozen so I'm not sure how I'll get in to deposit. Think there's gonna be a lot of emailing goin down, just really hope they dont yank my profit.

I would agree with bryce. If you have enough to cover it in there for the 2nd time they put it through, it should post fine though. Good luck!

I suggest getting the funds into your bank account and have Full Tilt check again.
