Online gambling websites are racing to reconcile their NETeller merchant accounts. Operators that are heavily dependent on NETeller as their primary merchant could have serious issues sending and receiving funds to clients.

Bodog.com, one of the last operators to adopt NETeller instead focusing on ACH and EFT, has already discontinued the use of NETeller as a payment option and is one of a handful of operators that did not rely heavily on NETeller.

NETeller has already pulled their wildly popular InstaCash product to US customers. This comes in the wake of the Monday arrests of the company's Founders John Lefebvre and Stephen Lawrence.

In other news, rumors from Costa Rica have begin to pick up that the United States has agents in the country and are expected to raid some operations looking for undocumented workers. These rumors have been circulating for weeks and are currently unconfirmed.

On operator that wished to remain anonymous stated that, “The United State forgave close to $200 million in debt owed by the Costa Rican Government in return for knocking on some doors down here”

    ###### will continue to monitor this situations as it unfolds

Well, you can thank the Bible-thumping, do-no-wrong BUSH ADMINISTRATION for this unconstitutional bullshit. And I am a Republican (switching parties soon however. I am tired of the corruption). RAIDING OTHER COUNTRIES?! Guessing they will be at my door soon to arrest me for my "big" bets.

What a waste. But hey, no problem if you want to smuggle in NARCOTICS!!!! They won't be looking for you since they are so busy trying to stop the gamblers!!!

I wonder if sports services operating outside of Nevada will be the next target. The former may not be able to hide "for information only purposes" forever.
It seems though that for now the intent is to simply "cut off the head" of sports gambling by making it exceeedinly difficult for folks to get the money to and from the sportsbooks.
I wonder sometimes whether someone could take the issue of the legality of sports gambling to the Supreme Court and have the case heard. Why does it have to be so open and shut?
