Now that Pinny is no longer a player in the US Market - what advice would you have for betting.

I would like to bring up what Bodog did to me last night and it seems they do this even more now. I bet on Miami Heat - they are down six or seven points to Seattle and are -1 odds in the second half. I click in my bet and it raises from -105 to -120= going from a dog bet to an over saturated favored bet. Will you accept this bet? It ask- Sheesh- - I figure a winner is a winner! This has been happening frequently and I see another has the same issue. He states his friend is on the phone and Bodog is giving different odds than he has.

Conclusion- Bodog profiles you (apparently others do as well) and knows you will accept the bet no matter how they change it due to your past betting profile. If you are a favorites player - they will opt to change the line dramatically and the same goes for dog players. As I am now aware of this- its time for me to exit Bodog. Locals are an option but I find they are not as convenient on first half and second half plays and your desire to bet has to coincide with their schedule.

I have viewed other books and Olympic and 5 dimes are some favorable choices. What is your voice in this?

Locals suck, they dont offer anything near what top offshores have.

It is a sad day for US gamblers.

I hear BetChris is good, but who knows how long they offer gambling to US citizens.

5Dimes is the way to go......I use Bodog also and Sportsbook but nothing beats 5 Dimes

I concur ... bodog gives out different lines to dog players vs fav players... be careful of bodog if you want to open an account with them... i'd stay away...

I hear ya JC- they took down the best book by most voices out there and they have created an insecure feeling in the bettors realm.

I have always used a local. I have never had a problem with him. He's always open. If i win he has my money on Tuesday. If I lose, he gives me back 15% of it. I dont know why everyone trahses locals. I'm sure there are some bad ones out there, but the majority that I have used have beeen good guys. My main guy even throws a christmas party for his clients.

As coach i have to give my opinion here. Stay away from locals, nothing good can come away from it.


Play With offshores, and you Only Lose Money you Have.

With Locals, you can often lose money that yourself and family needs. Seen too much SH*t go on with locals

Send a few bills to an offshore account, and everybody sleeps well at night.
