I just called WWTS and was told that a decision will be made later on in the day regarding this entire matter, and that in worst case scenario all money will be returned.

BetWWTS.com endorsement status remains intact for now
Gambling911.com has made a decision to maintain BetWWTS.com as an "endorsed sportsbook" for the time being while we await the prospective sale of the company by its publicly traded parent firm BetCorp. The parent company expects to make an announcement within the next 10 days and during this transition period is not accepting deposits or allowing withdrawals to or from US citizens. They remain open for customers outside the United States.
Many customers have expressed anger over this decision. BetCorp issued a statement Sunday night that they were in contact with three prospective buyers and that shareholders required the site to stop accepting US customers following the signing of a bill by President Bush that would restrict some forms of online gambling through credit cards. BetCorp fears that a mass exodus of customers would seriously harm a potential sale.
But time is not on BetCorp's side. Any prospective buyer would have to offer an incentive and instill confidence in customers should this process continue beyond Monday.
A number of websites that featured BetWWTS.com as an advertiser have begun removing their banners.
We continue to stay in close contact with folks involved with BetWWTS.com and feel confident that all customer funds are safe.

Betcorp to sell BetWWTS in next two days
A deal to acquire Betcorp's US facing brand BetWWTS.com is about 90% likely according to sources close to Gambling911.com. The party looking to acquire BetWWTS.com is one of the better known gaming firms.
An announcement was anticipated no later than Friday.
Betcorp has placed a hold on all customer accounts over the past few days during this transition period.
US customers would be welcome to continue playing at BetWWTS.com once the sale is completed. Meetings were taking place the past 36 hours in Toronto.Bet with your head, not your heart.

Dear John:
Thank you for contacting me regarding Internet gambling. I appreciate
knowing your views on this issue.
On-line gambling is a rapidly growing issue. For many, gambling on the
Internet is an enjoyable pastime, yet for others it is a painful
addiction
that can destroy their finances and families. Most states already have
laws restricting on-line gambling.
Representative Leach introduced H.R. 4411- the Unlawful Internet
Gambling
Enforcement Act of 2005, which would restrict on-line gambling on the
federal level. This bill would prevent the involvement of banking or
credit institutions in financial transactions related to gambling.
This
provision was attached to the SAFE Port Act (H.R. 4954) and passed the
Senate on September 30, 2006 by unanimous consent.
Again, thank you for contacting me. If you have any additional
questions,
please feel free to contact me anytime.
Very respectfully yours,
MIKE DeWINE

My response to Senator Dewine:
"On-line gambling is a rapidly growing issue" I agree Senator, so why was it attached to a bill passed at midnight on a Friday? Why not have Vegas casinos regulate and TAX online gambling. Think of all the kids we could send to college on tax revenue generated from this issue.
Thank You John #####Ron Paul for president
