betWWTS - Very important announcement concerning betWWTS.com
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Very important announcement concerning betWWTS.com

Guys - BetCorp who owns betWWTS, betbet, BetHoldem, etc will be pulling out of the US Market.

I need to make a few things clear.

    1. The betWWTS banners will remain up until the end of October because we are contractually obligated.

    2. I have learned from some very trustworthy sources that betbet and WWTS will be sold off from BetCORP and will go private so they can remain, however that will not be the first thing that happens but will hopefully be the end result.

    3. BetCORP is a public traded company and I have explained that all public companies have more risk and because of the board of directors have to look out for the stockholders - they all follow each other.

BetCORP has ZERO debt on the books, unlike Leisure, Party Gaming, etc. Your money will be safe and money in not an issue.

BetCORP will be pulling from the US presumably tomorrow (when Bush signs bill). They will not accept any more US depositers after this time. They may continue to accept active US bettors wagers but they will make another announcement on Monday, most likely

    WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

The bottom line until they are sold off - WWTS will no longer be a viable option for US players

    HAVE I PULLED MY MONEY?

I have left some money in there but I have requested to pull some of it?

    ARE YOU SCREWED?

No, this is not BoS. This is a company that will do anything they can do remain a profitable company. They will pay off their debts

    SHOULD I PULL MY MONEY?

This is a decision for you to make. I believe you will have time ragrdless if they make an announcement or not, however it's your money and I wanted to let you know ASAP in case you are not comfortable. You will not get screwed but I do not recommend leaving a lot of money in there. If anyone has any problems - email me and I will try and help.

    WHAT ABOUT BETHOLDEM?

BetHoldem software provider has also pulled out. Until they find a new software provider I would classify them in the same boat.

The most important thing is - I wanted everyone to know.

I can promise you that NO reputable private held company is pulling out. Bet Jamaica, Greek, Cris, Pinny, etc all will be remaining as is.

Is CanBet alright? I know they are affiliated with some company on the stock market in the UK. Might be time to switch over to Pinny.

I think there fine. Will they pull out of the USA market? It seems that everyone is with the exception of sportingbet which has been mulling it over.

As I have stated before, I hope an Offshore and/or an individual challenges and defies the rulings and takes the entire matter to the US Supreme Court.
Are there any lawyers amongst this who believe that a case could be made and won over this issue and/or that it could to the Supreme Court?

                    Copied but worthy info:

This is bad news at WWTS. Their site isn't down for maintenance. They are stalling to figure out what their next move is. I made a withdrawl request and couple days ago, then got an e-mail from then asking for ID and the works. I sent it and got no response for 24 hours. Now, I was just told that everything is on hold at the moment until they come out with an announcement. She gave me a big speech on how a gambling law was passed today, as if I didn't know. I have a gut feeling that they are going to fuck the U.S. players out of $$$. I asked the operator if they will be paying out the balances. She said YES. Then I asked why I can't make a withdraw if they are going to pay out anyways. SHe then said once again that all U.S. accounts are frozen at this moment. This was at 12:30 EST.

Look at the books on this site at the top of the site banners. Bet365 no longer excepts customers from the USA, but I have several people there outside of the USA.

Private owned sportsbooks on this site:

                      Pinnacle
                      BoDog
                      BetJamaica
                      Skybook
                      BetCascade
                      Bowmans

Linesmaker was sold by sportingbet, so its now private

                      Non Private

                      Bet365 UK AIM Stock Exchange
                      Canbet on Australian Stock Exchange
                      BetWWTS
VIP Leisure Gaming owns them, but they are going private

All the non-privates may be sold for $1 to become private as first counter-measure.

I can't believe that one of the most respected and oldest Offshores in the world would actually not return the money of US players if they choose to suspend operations with this country;I could see that possibily with some of the fly by night operations but not with them(I sure hope on the other hand this is not wishful thinking on my part- NOTlol).
ps I strongly believe that if WWTS pulls out, then it is just a matter of time before virtually all of the Offshores will follow suit and end operations in the US.
ps if that happens, I will become a retired gambler and stick to stocks only;I will NEVER use a scummy local with their shit lines and rules!!

I am a VIP member and am going to call them pretty soon if they don't change that suspicious looking message on the website pretty soon and let us know what is REALLY going on.
