with the trouble bet on sports has had .. to the effect of closing shop totally in costa rica. how safe is it to send money overseas and gamble.. will other overseas sportsbooks get in trouble also.. would like some knowledgeable peoples opinion.. thanks

It depends on what the Government has on a sportsbook and what the Country they are in is allowing our Government to do.

The original owner of BOS ran the book illegally here in the USA then split for Costa Rica. David Caruthers was very verbal to the Government about gambling and how it shouldn't be outlawed. From what I read he exchanged e-mails with R-Leach whose behind the new bill that went through the house. Not only that, but BOS was the biggest advertisor here in the USA. With that being said I would stick to books that aren't rubbing things in the Governments face.

If MVP hadn't sold out to BOS there wouldn't be a problem with them. From what I gather Dalton (former owner) is trying to get his books back, but its tied up with BOS. IMO everyone can blame the DOJ.
