Job/new location search help

I'm tired of living in MD...if I want to move to another side of the country what are the necesasry steps I should take?

1) How can I find a job in CA when I live in MD?
- internet sucked (careerbuilder, monster, etc.. = no help)

2) How do I find the most bang for the buck for a house?

-reminder I will have no family members living anywhere near me.

Dude ask Bush and the Republicans I mean shit minimum wage is $5.15 an hour.

Seriously go to a temp agency or look online at local papers of where your wanting to move. Or buy a paper of where you're wanting to move. You need to send out a lot of resumes as well.

Depending on what your skill set is??? If you are a professional seek a heeadhunter who will provide you with companies that are a match for your skill level....I know many companies will not hire you until you move...Many people do not like their new areas and tend to bail and companies want stability....So sometimes it is better to move first and give yourself 2 months to find what you are looking for......

The local paper is usually the worst place to find a job.....Try monster and the other web-driven job sites......It all depends on your skills...When i was in BIG PHARMA headhunters would always call with new opportunities......If you let me know what you do i can give better advice
