Sports Announcer/Commentator Poll

Here is a good one I think:
Who in your opinion is the best sports announcer and/or commentator(any sport) and the worst you have ever heard.
I would choose Vince Scully as the best and David Justice as the worst when he did baseball commentary on ESPN as the worst(simply made comments which were simply obvious and boring to all with zero insights into the game itself).

I do not have an answer, but I will say this..getting the MLB Baseball Package rates very high in the unintentional comedy factor. Most of these announcers are the biggest friggin' homers in the world! It's classic comedy listening to some of them!

Don Orsillo for the Red Sox is far and away the worst announcer I have heard in my entire life. Just terrible. He sounds like one of those over exaggerating 'yuckers' you see in movie parodys. This guy flat out sucks.

I think Joe Buck is pretty good, and would be much better without McCarver (another worst candidates).

Vic Scully is head and shoulders above everyone else. At night, I always put on the Dodger games on the Package unless there is a major situation going on in another game.

BEST = Remy & Orsillo. They have more fun in the booth than anyone i've ever seen. They keep us laughing even when the game is boring. They are excellent together!!!

molta, Them 2 have me and my fiance constantly laughing. They can't even talk half the time when they are laughing so hard. The shit they do and talk about involving "Wally" is hilarious. I've never seen a mascot seated and talked about in the booth like it's a real person. They crack me up talking about that shit or how remy was driving on the sidewalk in Detroit trying to get to the stadium. They are very funny imo and Remy is hilarious!

I like Remy...I thik he is excellent. But Orsillo is not that great a Play-by=Play guy. If you like the Sox, he is great.....

For a time John Madden was the best. Then he got boring. Tim McCarver was great when he did the Met games. I no longer like him.

Currently, I enjoy Orel Hershiser on ESPN. I enjoy his insight. In football I like Troy and Moose Johnstone.
