Again, you and I disagree about what is someone else's business and what is not.
And yes, I do believe character in one's personal life may not have any bearing on his business life.
I alluded to before and will always allude to Babe Ruth as an example.

I voted for Bush over Dukakis in 1988 because I thought he was a better choice.
My views of how to evaluate a candidate have nothing to do with politics.
If Bush #1 or anyone had done what I thought was a good job during his administration, and he had done what Clinton had done,I would feel the same way as I do about Clinton and I would vote for him.

What I am getting at is that articles of impeachment had to do with lying under oath about Monica, whereas your statement would indicate the lying and impeachment were brought on by the Paula Jones depositon.
Or perhaps you are saying that you are concerned with his lying about Paula Jones and not Monica;please clarify what you mean.

ps Even if he was merely wrong about a lot of things and did not lie, then one must at least equate the importance of his competency relative to what Clinton did under oath, which did not involve the fate of thousands of people.

Sorry, just checked this again. Yes, the lying and impeachment were brought on by the Paula Jones deposition and Monica. Bill lied about Monica during the deposition for the Paula Jones. Don't take this as me calling you names like some people, but I really am amazed you don't know the facts behind this.

I am quite familiar with the Paula Jones incident, but I am human and can forget what actually happened;its ben a while.
What I didn't forget is the fact that the Republicans went after Clinton first for what transpired with Monica first;I don't think there is any denying that.
