How has it failed misebably? Even with the cost of gas skyrocketing we have a thriving economy. Prior to the hit the stock market has taken the last 10 days it came within a few points of hitting its all time high.

The enviormental freaks create such a burdon that taxes are levied on the fuel and fuel must meet such high standards now that in all reality it doesnt need to. We have enough oil in alaska and utah to last hundreds of years. If you think i'm wrong go look it up. Do you know that the government makes more $$$ off taxes on fuel than the big oil companies???

I don't have to agree with Kennedy on everything, and actually I am not in favor of gay marriages.
I stand by comment and theory regarding Cheney's daughter but believe it to be the exception rather than the world.
And of course, I will support Kennedy and Kerry, and I believe their vision for America is a lot better than that of Bush and his Administration which is more concerned with the the vision of Bush, Cheney and the rich than anything else.
