Boy, this Bush bashing is so out of control it is comical. Has he made some errors, hell yeah he has. I think his handling of immigration is pathetic. Iraq is Iraq, I'm not a conspiracy theorist like many. We went on the intelligence we had at the time, and it was faulty, no question. However people like to quickly forget that Bill Clinton, John Kerry, and the list goes on, all said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but nobody seems to recall that.

Oil, as someone pointed out has little, if anything to do w/ the President. Yes, it is very easy for simpletons to believe that Bush is the root of all evil, and if you watch enough of the national news, I guess I can't blame you b/c that is all you hear. Unfortunately most people simply believe what is on the news, despite it time and time again being shown to have an agenda, and nothing to do with straight fact reporting.

On a final note, a couple of things you won't be hearing in the national news. The unemployment rate is at a 5 year low, and the stock market is at a 6 year high. Guess Bush isn't all bad. OF course I am sure THAT has nothing to do w/ him.

Just like unemployment was at an all time low with him in office. Yet those figures never mention the fact that once people can no longer get unemployment they don't count into the numbers.

Other Presidents said there was weapons of mass destruction? Then why didn't they go in? And why so many leaks during the Presidents term?

Also why has so many members of his staff quit?

Also everyone forgets that Bush a long time ago was drilling for oil in either Texas or Colorado (Believe it was Colorado) he was told that the terrain etc, would harbor no oil. He went ahead and stuck the taxpayers with a huge amount of debt while he made millions. And they found no oil.

Guy has the lowest rate for a President in a long time and theres a reason for it. People are tired of our troops getting killed in Iraq. We need to pull out and do it now. Let them sort there own shit out. However, if Bush gets his way we will be in Iran next.

And what about North Korea having Nukes? Nothing being done about that, because they have no oil reserves.

And as someone else mentioned about Bin Laden. Why can't we find this fucker? With all the technology we have and money, but we can't find him. Shit Bush's family was doing business with his family and Bush flew all of his family out of the Country right after 9-11 without the chance for anyone to question them.

I have a friend that's been in the oil business for a long time and I remember not that many years ago when the price of a barrel of oil dipped to around $10 and he was just beside himself cause he said he losing his ass...I asked him not long ago what the break even point on a barrel was for him and he said...$16! So at $70 or whatever it is now....he's damn sure making up for his losses...it's even more a slap in the face when ya read where the CEO of Exxon just retired and (after ripping off employees of all their retirement benefits, think Enron) that his severance package is 454 million dollars!....yeah, we're in trouble folks if you're anywhere near the middle class in this country.

You say Iraq is Iraq? That's brilliant. Yes, it is Iraq and yes you have apparently drank the neo-con kool-aid. I agree that Bush is not to blame, not entirely...becuase he's too stupid and/or obligated to the real power brokers that run things in this country to get away with what he does on his own. He's got plenty of help, trust me. When the Xtreme Court handed him the election in 2000 is when this country started really falling apart. And as far as this "media" thing is concerned, get real...you no doubt hang on Fox News to deliver you that daily ration of right wing neo-con BS that you no doubt think is the real truth.
Let's just say we go along with you and instead of listening to the "biased media" we do, in fact, just look at a few FACTS that are easy to see no matter who is reporting them. Let's start with Katrina (and how Bush reacted)....guess the media just made that up huh? Oh, and finding no WMD's is a just the media whipping up more untruths I suppose. And when Bush says Bin Laden can run but he can't hide?....LOL...well, guess what.....that's EXACTLY what he's done...making Bush look even more like an idiot....I watch Bush make speeches (mostly in front of audiences he arranges that are mostly military types) and he says the media should be talking about the good stuff in Iraq...but yet, every reporter I see broadcasting FROM Iraq (you know, where the shit is really going on) says things are even WORSE than the national media describe them to be!
God, I could go on all day about this administration but let me close with this...what pisses me off more than anything, as a born and bred Texan....is that he claims to be a Texan but he was born a yankee and went to Yale like his ole man and he damn sure ain't no Texan....
ps. Now please respond and tell us how "great" Dick Cheney is.

Any woman can find their man. All we need to do is let Bin laden's wife (do they practice polyogmy?) know that he is cheating on her... She'll find his ass.

WOW, this is an interesting thread...

First, the boycott thing has been proved time and time again to be false, look it up at snopes.com (http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/gasout.asp http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/gasprices.asp). If you wacko libby lous would spend as much time surfing for actual facts instead of anti-Bush talking points you would be MUCH better off.

Second, in my opinion a great deal of the oil issues stems from environmental nuts telling us to save Alaska. Alaska (~ 0.6 million people), is the largest state in the US, but has a much smaller population than even Rhode Island (~1.04 million) and most of Alaska is "protected" from oil drilling. National studies have shown that there is plenty of oil there. I think we should start putting in place the ability to drill there NOW! I do care about the environment, but there is someplace where you have to accept the fact that we are the evolved species, not polar bears, penguins, and other animals. It's time we started acting like it. Drill away!!!

Third, if you are ignorant enough to believe all of the issues this country has right now is Bush's fault, I am sorry, you can't fix stupid.

Skeptiq, well put. Playing the devil's advocate, look at it from this point of view. When an economy is booming who do we appreciate..the leader. When an economy is faltering who do we blame...? Not saying everything is on Bush nor am I saying everything is not. It's just my humble opinion.

All I know, it cost me fucken $60 to fill my BMW. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

I dont think its the population that people are so worried about. I think its the trade-offs b/w wild-wife/enviro vs. our stnd of living.

I agree with the free handout shit. Why the fuck am I being punished for doing well? I fucken busted my ass in college, not going out, staying up all night just fucking studying my ass off to get to where I am. I know people who dropped out of high school making fuckin 20k a yr and complaining that the gov't aint doing shit to help them. FUCK THAT!!!
I wasn't born here - I became a citizen last year (thank you, hold your applause). I was always told, that especially in America, if you work hard, you'll can do anything. My dad fucken worked 12 hours a day waking up at 3 a.m. so he can put me and my brother through college. My mom worked 6 days a week pulling 10 hours on saturdays. And I hear people complaining about how the gov't is supposed lend them a hand or isn't doing anything? The gov't is not your mom or dad. They dont give people allowances. Not once did I hear my parents say anything about the gov't. And I know they worked harder than 80% of these fuckers complaining.

What people lack now is strong work ethics. Complaining about I didnt get the job cause of this and that. Move the fuck on!! Start scrubbing toliets and move to managment. Dont think that you should be a CEO of a company because you think you "deserve" it. You and I dont deserve shit. We got to earn it.

There is the problem... most people seeking hand outs are lazy and don't want to earn anything... They think they are entitled to a gov't hand out, cause they don't want to work. The system is abused everyday, and there are people who enable abuse of our welfare system and perpetuate the problem. And most of those people, fall on the left side of the political spectrum, and feel it is the gov't responsibility to take of those who can't take care of themselves (I am not talking about incapacitated people or the handicapped).

I think regardless of our personal opinions regarding politics, it's nice to know we all live in this country and have the ability to voice our opinions.
