the last increase of prices actually have been caused by lack of facilities in the US that puts in the additives.....When they get those up to capacity prices will subside....I saw this on CNBC

Gentlemen, as much as we want to believe its Bush, Exxon, and other gas Distributors...how come no one is stating the obvious? We are running out of gas. Oh yea, its possible and we are. Simple economics, what happens when the demand is high and the supply is low... I fucken hate paying $50 for a full tank just as much as everyone. Question is not to find who to blame but to find the answer. Note: gas war will not work (I dont want to get deep, but trust me) I like the ethanol plan. America is a country most dependt on gas. Just like any drug, depencey on anything kills. We need to find an alternative source to gas - salt water (fucken earth is like 80% salt water)
But salt will fuck up metal...well get these smart ass enginnerrs who put a man on the moon to solve that problem.

If you want to blame someone, blame the fuckers that drive a 16 passenger SUV with only one person riding in the car (the driver) so they can show off to their friends. We've been using gas like we will never run out of this shit.

Going back to mandating fuel effiecent cars..the government does mandate it. However its not per car but per company. So Gov't says company B has to meet 25mpg mandate. If I have one car that gives 100mpg and I produce another car that gives 10mpg, I'm still abiding by the mandate - (100+10)/2 = 50mpg.

Its all about the benjamins...let me be the president, I'll fix all this shit. Although, I am not a naturalized citizen so that cant happen but let me at least be the first advisor.

The polar bars are already dying off as they have to swim too far and are drowning due to the global warming effects. So drilling in Alaska will probably only continue to make matters worse.

As another stated we need a new substitue for gas.

Besides the bear, drilling in alaksa will only delay the oil crisis for 5 whole years. Not worth it. Use salt water or used vegetable oil from resturants. Or use trash like in the movie back to the future..that car

The unfortunate truth is that government, Republicans as well as Democrats, are run by the DEEP POcKETED lobbyists, i.e. oil companies. I do believe a viable solution has already been dicovered but research and action IS being suppressed by these companies and their lobbyists.
