Santana. Far and away the strongest pitcher in the AL. If not available I would go with Texiera from Texas

My preference. Slightly younger and healthier player, strong line-up, good hitters park. I feel Vlad is a slight injury risk (still puts up monster numbers though), and does not have enough protection in the line up.

But I would take Santana over either one.

I had the same pick and I couldn't decided. Went with Vlad, I think he has the biggest upside.

Chicagodog - don't be surprised if A-Rod is still there with your selection, I personally think you should take Santana then Teixeira if Johan's gone. I participate in an AL only 5X5 league as well. Our draft is tommorrow night, the beers will be flowing and the shit will be talked, draft night is awesome !!!
