Spark - it really depends... back home before the hurricane hit, I was part of a research team under Dr. Long and Dr. Tarr that was developing a medicine that would rid cocaine addicts of their addiction..... it's a very complex process with a lot of chemistry and biological explanations in it, but...... long story short. The yield that we produced would ideally inhibit the endorphines released so that the brain would not be able to comprehend the signal and therefore the craving would never be there. Hence coke addicts would be able to get off the drug. We weren't quite finished in the research, but we were close when the storm hit... now that I"m in texas, I'm doing other research with a totally different team and playing catch up on the background knowledge of it.Originally posted by Spark
So if the drug is anything like this in working with the inhibiting of the endorphines...... it's possible... like all things though, I'm very skeptical of it.... and knowing what I know about how it works meaning the drug and... especially the medical community, I'd have to see it.
