unbelievable.....a pastor said they all ahad faith even when there should have been little faith due to the carbon levels....amazing....i am sooo happy for those people ...except the one miner....i feel bad for his family...as the others rejoice....his will not feel that relief.....it is an amazing way to make a living....my hats off to them folks

how sad is it that all but 1 of the miners were found Dead not alive. How the police,rescue and mining company could release details stating that they were in fact living and then blame miscommunication is a joke. Truely sad that these people had to go thru this twice. I cant imagine the pain.

yes its disgusting to think that someone leaked out false information. I saw the news this morning. CNN had cameras there last night and when the news broke that all but 1 miner survived the church where the families were was going nuts with joy. It was a celebration. Then just 3 short hours later the governor spoke and said the information givin was false and all but 1 miner died.

I was sick to my stomach after I turned on the news this morning and saw all but 1 died. It sounds like they knew 20 minutes after the announcement that all 12 were alive was not true, but didn't tell the families the updated information. I was watching MSNBC and they made it sound like they were going to walk out and some might need medical attention. How could all the new outlets be so far off? I feel sorry for the families of the miners and what they had to go through last night.

I feel the same as you guys. When I first heard they were found alive, I was so thankful to God. Then they come back and say it was bad information and all but 1 were dead. I was sick all morning about this.

I actually work about 7 miles from where this accident happened. What's really disgusting is the way the national media is acting around town. We went to lunch today and it was like a party for them. ABC came up to me and a co-worker and wanted to know our "reaction". I said what the fuck do think my reaction is and no I would not be interviewed. The news media really sucks. I guarantee you tonight on just about every station they will find the poorest and least intelligent person they can find and use them for their piece to air about the tradegy. Always try to make West Virginia out to be like a 3rd World Country.

The plant I work at has about 400 people at it and I would say at least 90% of the people here knew someone that was killed in the accident. Small state and small community so it's a very sad day around here. I just wish the media would let everyone grieve and keep the cameras out of everyone's faces and do a little more fact checking next time. There were hundreds of people that went to the site after midnight last night because they thought there was good news.
